Casa Andresen

I do hope to visit this exhibition in September, which cleverly explores the several purposes of Casa Andresen, or Jardim Botanico do Porto. An exhibition on nature, tweaked by men, that opens fantasy worlds to those who view it, just as the writings of the two most notorious Andresen who live in that house did – Sophia de Mello Breyner Andresen and Ruben A. Extraordinary minds with imaginations that saw no bounds. From the gardens of that house, overlooking the merchant ships leaving Douro they both knew that they could think as wide as the sea; which they did.

And, of course, this exhibition should be heaven for taxidermy-lover hipsters.
